Key Responsibilities
- Review loan files for commercial real estate mortgage and mezzanine loans.
- Conduct due diligence, including review of loan documents, opinions, leases, title policies, surveys, and other related items.
- Identify and analyze key issues across all commercial real estate asset classes.
- Support lender-side representation in the origination of commercial real estate mortgage and mezzanine loans.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial real estate finance experience, specifically representing lenders.
- Active New York Bar is required.
- Strong familiarity with mortgage and mezzanine loan originations.
- Demonstrated ability to spot issues and manage complex due diligence.
- Excellent attention to detail and a deep understanding of loans secured by commercial real estate assets.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team.
