The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing products by following standard work procedures and manufacturing specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring efficient production processes to meet company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow standard work instructions, manufacturing specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery as needed.
- Handle raw materials and ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency.
- Identify and report any production or quality issues to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete required production and quality control documentation accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to operate machinery and follow safety protocols.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
