As a Cord Room Assembler, your primary duties involve assembling electrical components and ensuring that cords are correctly prepared, installed, and tested. You will follow technical instructions, use various tools, and maintain high-quality standards in the production process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follow technical instructions and interpret drawings for cord assembly tasks.
- Assemble parts and mount them into larger assemblies or castings.
- Ensure proper installation of wiring and connectors.
- Test and troubleshoot products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use hand tools and test equipment proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support the department supervisor in meeting production goals.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support and training as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Working Hours: 4:00PM-12:30AM
