Ekman Painting is seeking a bilingual Assistant Project Manager to help us bridge the gap between our team, customers, and contractors. If you thrive on communication, like being hands-on with technology, and enjoy seeing projects come together from start to finish, we would like to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Communicate directly with customers and subcontractors - fluency in Spanish is required.
- Take detailed notes and updates of each project using an iPad.
- Support and coordinate daily with the Senior Project Manager to ensure schedules, scope, and quality standards are met.
- Assist with tracking materials, timelines, and project changes.
- Generate enthusiasm and encourage action around project goals and solutions.
- Support and assist in the implementation of new ideas or solutions that improve production and client satisfaction.
- Take ownership of tasks and follow through to ensure successful project completion and desired results.
- Pitch in with paperwork, attend meetings, and support general administrative needs as they come up.
- Be a friendly, professional face for Ekman Painting on all project sites.
What We're Looking For:
- 1 year work experience within a construction-related role.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a must!
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- iPad and Google Suite proficiency required, and ability to learn company production software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential - this role involves working closely with customers, team members, and subcontractors.
- A proactive mindset — someone who can spot potential issues early, help prevent them, and contribute to solving them during production.
This is a field-based position with a company vehicle and gas included. You'll be out and about-helping us deliver a smooth, professional experience that our customers count on.
