What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Observer position at Eklutna Gaming Authority?
Protect the company’s best interest.
Monitor the current activity in and around the casino
Review video of recent activity to research matters at hand.
Use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
Work independently and unsupervised and pay attention to the smallest of details.
Accurately make and log reports for the department manager.
Relay performance, complaints, or violations of any rules/procedures with the Manager.
Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Previous experience with digital surveillance equipment is preferred.
- Experience with IT systems, hardware including switches, wiring and desktop PCs and software including server infrastructure and active directory preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a basic understanding of gaming rules and regulations.
- The ability to read and recognize questionable behavior by both customers and employees.
- The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Registration with Gaming Commission
- Personal Computer including Microsoft Office and IGT Falcon software
- Document scanner and printer
- Various hardware/software used in the slot machine environment
