Job Summary :
The CPA will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This includes managing accounting functions, financial planning and analysis, and ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). A strong understanding of construction accounting and lien waivers is essential for this role.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and provide insightful reports to management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and filings.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction accounting principles
- Manage and understand lien waivers, including processing, tracking, and ensuring compliance.
- Analyze project profitability and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and costs.
