We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) to join Ekanta Wealth Advisors, our boutique Family Office with offices in the U.S. This role is key to deepening our client relationships and expanding our investment advisory practice, offering strategic guidance to high-net-worth families across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will combine technical financial expertise with strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Success in this position is defined by the ability to deliver personalized investment strategies, maintain full regulatory compliance, and build a solid book of business within a collaborative, client-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Meeting individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses and assets.
- Periodic communication with clients to assess portfolio performance and confirm adherence to risk profile and return expectations.
- Offering strategic advice on products and services, such as investments & estate planning
- Moving money from accounts per industry and federal regulations.
- Performing market research to stay current with financial trends.
- Preparing financial documents, such as income projections and investment reports.
- Maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry.
- Identifying and pursuing potential clients to maintain a strong client base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, economics or business.
- Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) license – Series 65 or combination of Series 7 & 66.
- Expertise in financial markets, including securities, mutual funds, and alternative investments. Knowledge in insurance, estate planning, trusts, banking and taxes a plus.
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial information and develop financial strategies.
- Book of clients and/or prospects of at least US$ 50mm, with the expectation to obtain these assets under management by year 2. Thereafter, growth expectation of at least 10% per year.
- Advanced ability to analyze and explain market data.
- Organizational and multitasking skills to maintain accurate records and complete tasks for multiple clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to demonstrate knowledge and foster client trust
- Computer skills to use customer relationship management, spreadsheet, financial analysis, presentation, word processing and other software programs.
- Up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to banking, investments, insurance, taxation and estate planning.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
