Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers
- Install new appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical components of appliances
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair, installation, or related field service roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and ladder diagrams
- Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting across electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment
- Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or service vans safely and responsibly
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision while managing multiple service calls efficiently
