Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The position involves handling retail sales, operating POS systems and cash registers, and engaging with customers to promote our products, including specialty items like chocolates, and ice cream. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems and cash registers accurately to process transactions efficiently
- Manage retail sales transactions, including handling cash, credit, or debit payments
- Promote and sell chocolate products and other merchandise to customers.
- Assemble chocolate boxes
- Scoop and sell ice cream
- Scale and package products
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization
- Restock shelves as needed to ensure product availability
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries about items on display
- Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- A positive team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
