Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Dishwasher & Takeout Packer for our Japanese ramen restaurant. Full-time or part-time positions are available. The main responsibilities are dishwashing, keeping the dish area clean and organized, and accurately packing takeout and delivery orders. Previous restaurant experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
- Pack takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
- Check orders to make sure all items are included before they leave the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and follow restaurant sanitation standards
- Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning and other related duties when needed
Schedule
- Restaurant is closed every Tuesday
- Full-time: up to 5–6 days per week
- Part-time: preferably at least 4 days per week
- Full shifts of approximately 8 hours are preferred
- Evening shifts around 4:00 PM–9:00 PM may also be available
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is required
- Dishwashing and/or takeout packing experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail when packing takeout orders
- Able to work well as part of a team
