Job description:
EIT Inc. is looking for pilots to complete a research study for the Federal Aviation Administration.
We are looking for pilots with a current FAA Private Pilot Certificate with no additional ratings or endorsements as well as the below qualifications:
- Current Class 3 FAA medical certificate or higher
- At least 3 takeoffs and 3 landings within the previous six months. This experience must be in an airplane.
- At least 18 years of age
- US Citizen
Pilots will be required to provide a resume, copies of their certificates and logbook, flight hour information, and a list of aircraft they have experience in.
Some FAA Studies span multiple months so the schedule for your 1-day is adjustable. The pilot’s 1-day would be eight hours at the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center at the Atlantic City International Airport.
Pilots will play the role of research subject operating either an airplane or simulated cockpit to improve cockpit weather information and technology. Pilots will be compensated for participation and travel expenses.
