Environmental Occupational Health Safety EOSH Specialist

Position Description:

EIT, Inc. is looking for one candidate with a bachelor's degree that includes at least 24 credits of classes that apply to Environmental Safety. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections and training in compliance with OSHA requirements to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ. Performance on the job involves walking, standing, bending, climbing and carrying small light objects and must be medically fit to wear a respirator.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 college credits of classes in these areas: public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, industrial psychology, health and safety, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering and industrial psychology, etc.

• Three (3) years of relevant experience conducting either safety inspections, safety training or hearing conservation programs in work areas, laboratories, offices, industrial areas etc.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour. Salary to commensurate with experience.
