What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESY Autistic Support Teachers position at EISENHOWER?
At the current time, vacancies exist for Extended School Year Teachers within the Norristown Area School District for Summer 2026. The vacancies for this position are at the Elementary, Middle, and High School level.
Qualifications:
- PA certification in Special Education N-12 or Special Education 7-12
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- ABA training preferred
- IT experience preferred
- Experience working with Special Education Students preferred
- FBI, Pa Criminal Background, and Child Abuse clearances
Duties & Job Responsibilities:

Maintain IEP in compliance.
- Maintain accurate data on students daily progress.

Maintains poise and composure.

Maintains professional attitudes.

Communicates with parents about students’ progress.
- Collaborate with related service providers.
- Oversee paraprofessional support for students.
Schedule:
Monday- Thursday
July 6 -July 30, 2026
Middle/High school- 7:45 am- 12:15 pm
Elementary school- 8:45 am- 1:15 pm
Rate:
$50/hour
Salary : $50
