Job Title: Instructional Support Staff, Physical Education Classroom

Job Brief:   

• This Instructional Support Staff member assists in Physical Education classes by supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. This position aides in instruction, supervises students, prepares equipment and activity areas, and helps promote positive behaviors and teamwork.

Location: Eisenhower Middle School

Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or GED. 
• Good communicator. 
• Enjoys helping and working with students and educators. 
• All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.  

Salary: 

• $12.00 - $16.00/hr.
• Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor's degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.). 

Hours Per Day: 

• Times may vary depending on the building assignment. 
• Flexible hours depending on availability. 
• Average workday = 8 hours.  

Terms of Employment: 

• Positions available during the regular school year. 
• New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.

Reports To: 

• Building Principal. 
• Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on evaluation of classified personnel.

Job Duties:  

• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce teacher instruction and objectives. 
• Support student learning as directed by the teacher. 
• Assists with student supervision. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary : $12 - $16
