Default Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours: 40 Salary range: $29.14 - $44.26 Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Hour employee Department: Foundation Job Objective: Produces visually compelling materials to support the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. Combines graphic design expertise with marketing knowledge to create impactful, innovative and original visuals for use in publications, event materials, brochures, print and web. Provides visual communication solutions, develops original design concepts based on briefs and contributes innovative ideas to strengthen our donor engagement across all communication channels. Job Description: Education: Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree Preferred: Associate’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field Licensure/Certification: N/A Experience: Required: Three (3) years of experience in desktop publishing and portfolio review Preferred: Experience in nonprofit, fundraising Reports To: Communications Director-Foundation Supervises: N/A Ages of Patients: N/A Blood Borne Pathogens: Minimal/ No Potential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to collect and coordinate information from a wide variety of internal and external resources, Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment and consistently deliver materials that meet Eisenhower’s standard of excellence, Ability to create and maintain positive interpersonal relations with peers, staff, leaders and vendors, Ability to pivot quickly based on shifting priorities and execute decisions to meet position demands, Ability to remain calm, organized and solution focused during high volume or time sensitive periods, Basic video editing (Premiere Pro) and photo developing skills (Lightroom), Excellent editorial skills; critical eye for quality graphic images and layout/design integrity, Knowledge and skills in the latest desktop publishing, printing, graphic, web and mobile design techniques, Knowledge in branding, layout, color theory and design in both print, digital and web media, Knowledge of the following software: Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat, and PowerPoint, Knowledge of typography, including the structure and form of type and how it is used in contemporary graphic design, Self-starter; driven to take action without needing prompting, Skills in presentation design and information graphics (charts, graphs and tables), Understanding of budgeting, planning, and timelines, Understands print production processes and binding options, Understands that feedback is not criticism; design is a process and collaborative Essential Responsibilities 1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. 2. Provides expertise and creative input for marketing projects associated with the Foundation and fundraising; develops original design concepts based on briefs and offers visual solutions that bring ideas to life, from design inception to its final production in digital and print; designs with donor engagement, clarity and impact in mind. 3. Ensures initial concepts are thoughtfully researched and developed to the level appropriate for the project scope, timeline and Foundation standards. 4. Designs visual assets for marketing materials, including logos, infographics etc.; avoids generic graphics and maintains alignment with brand standards. 5. Executes creative design for Foundation Marketing and Communications Department projects, which includes Capital Campaign, 24/7, Planned Giving Annual Giving and other materials; works collaboratively with the team and follows the direction of the Communications Director. 6. Maintains established graphic standards for projects; understands concept of working with standard fonts, colors and layouts. 7. Assures cost effectiveness of all communications materials; maintains adherence to graphic standards (relative to use of the Eisenhower name, logo and image); retains a clear graphic family relationship between all communications vehicles produced. 8. Creates and produces artwork and provides proofs to appropriate team members; advises them of changes or issues. 9. Assists in writing, designing, publishing and producing recognition materials and communications for Eisenhower Foundation. 10. Maintains all files and brand assets (logos, templates, style guides, graphic elements) ensuring they are current, organized and accessible to the team. 11. Creates multimedia content, including videos and animations and polished, brand aligned PowerPoint presentations using advanced layout and master slide management. 12. Develops visual branding elements and style guides. 13. Identifies, coordinates and supervises various creative resources (e.g., photographers, graphic artists, printers, sign makers, promotional material suppliers, etc.) in producing a wide variety of communications projects. 14. Manages and schedules print and other production projects with vendors to maximize timeliness and budget; communicates effectively with vendors to ensure quality and accuracy. 15. Coordinates and oversees video and photo assignments performed by outside vendors, collaborates to develop and/or revise creative vision of internal projects, supplies images in support of various publications; organizes and maintains the Foundation’s photo library ensuring images are properly catalogued, edited, stored and accessible. 16. Maintains current knowledge of health care issues (including political and technological); develops and maintains an acute awareness of the interests, needs and sensitivities among the Foundation's various audiences; maintains awareness of and proficiency in current trends and practices in fundraising. 17. Ensures accuracy, design integrity and esthetics of all assignments. 18. Obtains estimates and coordinates with appropriate vendor to produce job; coordinates vendor estimates, purchase orders and other related documentation to support accurate processing and timely project delivery. 19. Maintains accurate project information for archiving and billing purposes; uses clear file-naming to ensure efficient handoff and team accessibility; understands that all design files belong to Eisenhower and may be accessed or edited by team members. 20. Orders and monitors supply levels needed to meet job requirements. 21. Assesses workflow output to improve efficiency or impact. 22. Edits and creates renderings and create mock ups for donor recognition. 23. Works on event projects at off site locations, such as, working on signage, presentations, production tasks, marketing materials set-up, as needed. 24. Completes production tasks promptly and accepts delegation and responsibility. 25. Performs other duties as assigned. Welcome to Eisenhower Health Careers!
