Role and Responsibilities
- Consults with Human Resources and Residential Director to determine projected needs for staff. Organize recruiting program based on organizational needs and specialized qualifications for anticipated positions.
- Interview qualified applicants and create offers for selected candidates.
- Provide candidates with position details, expectations, thorough information about the compensation package and the onboarding process.
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process, including the completion of background checks and I-9 form.
- Maintain weekly and monthly hiring reports to track data on hiring and job openings.
- Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
- Attend job fairs and arrange with college and nursing school placement offices for on-campus interview dates. Reviews resumes, conduct interviews, check academic records and previous work experience.
- Effectively promote Eisenhower Center through marketing and posting both internally and externally
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and all external recruiting campaigns
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Responsible for data entry into multiple HRIS
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the recruiting, onboarding and training processes
- Maintain personnel files, adhering to Eisenhower Center’s policies
- Attend seminars and training sessions to keep current on changes in laws related to human resources
- Conduct new hire orientation training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 2 years full cycle recruiting experience (preferred)
- Experience as a high-volume recruiter with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Kronos (UKG) is preferred
- Proven ability to drive results and apply critical thinking, problem solving, excellent judgement and strong negotiation skills
- Experience with credentialing (preferred)
- Excellent ability to build rapport with candidates, effectively managing challenging phone conversations while maintaining an approachable and positive attitude
- Strong work ethics and excellent communication skills
- Ability to be adaptable and work both individually and collaboratively to achieve desired business outcomes
