ASSOCIATE POSITION - FULL TIME OR PART TIME PHILADELPHIA, PA

Established practice seeking a motivated, hardworking DPM for full-time or part-time employment. Practice includes comprehensive clinical and surgical foot/ankle cases, resident training, competitive salary, and performance-based bonus structure.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle examinations to assess patient needs and diagnose conditions such as bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, and diabetic foot ulcers
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication, orthotics, physical therapy, or minor surgical procedures
  • Perform minor surgical interventions with precision and care to correct deformities or remove problematic growths
  • Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and proper footwear choices to promote long-term wellness
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal treatment outcomes
  • Keep detailed medical records of patient histories, treatments, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine through ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatric medicine
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions (preferred but not mandatory for new graduates)
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for performing surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining compassionate patient care
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth within the field of podiatry
