What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer (temporary help) position at Einstein Plumbing?
Temporary labor help for a commercial plumbing underground mainly consisting of spreading stone and shallow trenching.
Einstein Plumbing USA is a Chicago based plumbing contractor with a proven record of excellence in designing and managing plumbing projects throughout Chicago and neighboring suburbs. We have built a strong reputation as the go to plumbing contractor for new construction car washes, commercial build outs, residential additions, and new construction residential and commercial projects.
We are actively looking for a Construction Laborer to join our team and assist our crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas
- Communicates effectively and timely with team
- Assists in excavation and backfill process for plumbing contractor
- Assists in above ground prep and installation
Results/Accountabilities:
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment
- Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively
- Must be able to read a tape measure and uses power saws
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds consistently over 8 hour work day
Requirements:
- Steel toed shoes, hard hat, and gloves to be worn on jobsite every day (to be supplied by you)
- Standard working hours will be 7:30am-3:30pm
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be willing to do overtime if necessary to meet deadlines (after hours and potentially weekend work)
- Ability to travel between job sites (up to 2 hours travel time from Chicago)
- Candidate must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check
Pay: $25.00 per hour
