What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving - Inventory Supervisor position at Einstein Fulfillment?
Position Summary: This position is in a 3PL warehouse. The Inventory and Receiving Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts, overseeing the receipt and quality control of incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring proper storage and organization of goods. This position plays a vital role in processing receiving, returns and incoming and outgoing goods, delegating tasks to the inventory team, and supporting operational efficiency.
Essential Functions (Other duties as assigned):
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately count and record inventory in the WMS system.
- Delegate tasks to the inventory team, including replenishment, receiving, returns and conducting cycle counts.
- Maintain organized storage of materials and ensure proper labeling and location tracking.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to client CSM and upper management.
- Receive and prepare return products for return to stock, damage and QC based on client SOP’s.
- Support inventory counts to ensure stock levels are accurate and up to date.
- Operate a forklift /reach to unload trucks and move materials as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 3PL Warehouse experience.
- Basic computer skills and experience with WMS systems.
- ShipHero experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills for professional interactions via email and phone, internally and with clients.
- Capability to lift 35lbs or more.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Forklift operation experience.
Working Condition: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to noise levels and temperatures consistent with an ambient warehouse environment.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
