Overtime on Friday and Saturday can be mandatory during peak season
Duties:
As a Candy Packer, you play a key role in getting our quality products out on time. You will complete quality checks of products, before weighing, packing and sealing finished products for shipment.
Essential Functions
- Label boxes
- Count packages while boxing for shipment
- Quality checks of product and packaging
- Complete paperwork
- Work in fast paced environment
- Basic math required
- Must be able to work on an assembly line
- Will be required to keep pace with team to minimize stoppage on line
- Required to do basic housekeeping/sanitation duties during slow times
Qualifications:
Competencies
- Must be able to accurately count
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to perform repetitive work regularly
- Must be able to stand for entire duration for the shift
- Must be able to operate basic equipment such as a date stamper, and taper machine
- Must be able to complete necessary paperwork
Work Environment
At times, the work environment can be noisy. There is frequent usage of powered equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks. There are machines set up throughout the production floor that the employees will need to work near.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged standing, bending and twisting
- Repetitive motion
- Frequent lifting of objects up to 10lbs
- Gripping, pinching, grasping
- Infrequently lift up to 50lbs (10%)
- Regularly lift up to 10lbs (90%)

Hours for 3rd shift are 8:00PM to 6:00AM Monday-Thursday with both voluntary and mandatory OT as needed that is subject to change with or without notice based on business needs.
