Position Overview
Eileen’s Cookies is looking for a talented, creative, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cookie Decorator. As an essential member of our bakery, you will bring delicious cookies to life through your decorative skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Decorate cookies by hand with piping bags, icing and other toppings according to shop standards, custom orders, and seasonal designs
- Package finished cookies neatly for display or customer orders, ensuring presentation meets Eileen’s Cookies’ standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular sanitation of decorating tools and equipment
- Collaborate with fellow bakers and decorators to plan new designs and contribute creative ideas for special events and promotions
- Assist with inventory of decorating supplies and communicate restocking needs to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a decorator or in a similar role required.
- Enthusiasm and a creative eye for decorating cookies in a variety of styles
- Ability to accurately follow written instructions, and design templates
- Exceptional attention to detail, color coordination, and artistic presentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple orders, especially during peak periods
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the bakery’s schedule
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure smooth collaboration with the team and positive customer experiences
Work Environment
This position requires standing for long periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
