Position Overview:
We are offering an internship opportunity for motivated Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Electrical Engineers. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry experts on active projects, learning the fundamentals of design, analysis, and project management in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Civil Engineering Interns:
- Assist with design, drafting, and analysis for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
- Support project teams in preparing technical reports and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and assist with inspections and data collection.
- Perform calculations and modeling using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Mechanical Engineering Interns:
- Assist with the design and testing of mechanical, piping, and structural components.
- Analyze mechanical components using simulation tools and perform technical documentation.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop system layouts and component specifications.
- Support prototype development and testing phases.
- Electrical Engineering Interns:
- Assist in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Support the development of schematics and electrical plans.
- Use software like AutoCAD Electrical or Revit to assist in electrical system layouts.
- Participate in system integration, testing, and documentation of electrical components.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic record with relevant coursework (specify any required or preferred classes).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with engineering software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or project experience in a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, or electrical regulations (for Civil or Electrical Engineering interns).
