Role Description The Associate Attorney will work on a full-time, on-site basis in the Greater Richmond Region. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, analyzing case law, and preparing memoranda and opinions. The role involves providing legal advice to clients, assisting with negotiations, and supporting senior attorneys in case strategy, hearings, and other proceedings. The Associate Attorney will manage case files, communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and help ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable laws. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in firm initiatives and practice development are also part of this role.
Qualifications
. Bilingual (Spanish)
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission (or eligibility for admission) in Virginia.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Prior law firm or clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
