EIHAB HUMAN SERVICES, INCAccounts Receivable Billing SupervisorResponsibilities:The Billing/ Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the billing team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of AR and billing. This position works to find areas where EIHAB can add value to the organization by providing support with their billing and ensuring accuracy upon submission and collection of Medicaid claims. OPWDD or DDD, and Non-Profit Experience a must. RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TOProcess billing and supervise billing team which will include training, mentoring, process improvement and providing guidance with technical and personnel issuesOversee billing systems ensuring the highest level of support and customer service is provided to EIHAB's programsProvide feedback and encourage learning by team members; create growth opportunities for others, transfer knowledge to others and challenge them to develop their own solutionsArticulate clear performance goals and provide frequent performance measurement feedbackEstablish priorities, allocate time to maximize benefits, manage team resources to ensure the highest level of productivity and accuracyMake clear assignments to team; empower others by extending responsibility and authority; provide timely feedback and follow-upHold staff/team and others accountable for expected quality and accuracy within the billing processPro-actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and act upon findings to initiate improvements, presenting ideas in a persuasive way to gain supportDevelop action plans with timelines in order to implement strategy; involve others in the process; incorporate best ideas into plan and gain buy-in through effective communicationProvide the highest level of customer service and support; understand EIHAB's core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issuesMake timely decisions with well-developed judgement, while considering alternatives, risks and other critical decision factorsMonitor daily team workloads and assist as backup when necessaryMaintain/Create process documents, training material and work instructions as neededPerform various data analysis and reporting to include cash sub sequence and year end analysis.Assist the technical billings team with feedback and testing for new billing designsSupport and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement which may include working with auditorsProvides daily/weekly updates to supervisor as neededSubmit a thorough billing review of all programs on a monthly basis showing compliance with OPWDD and other related state and local regulationsPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree preferredIn-depth knowledge of governmental accounting, such as OPWDD regulations requirementsPreferred knowledge of DDD and HCSISExperience with 837 and 835 reports.Experience using electronic health records (E.H.R)Familiar with Financial and Accounting Resource GuideAbility to review and to interpret financial dataStrong communication, including writing, speaking and active listeningMust understand financial statements, balance sheetsAbility to record journal entries as well as do billing exports into accounting platformMust have strong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to prepare revenue and accounts receivable and collection analysis reportsMust be able to reconcile accounts receivable accountsFive years of experience in accounts receivable and billingFive years' progressive experience in financial accounting Company DescriptionEIHAB Human Services is a multilingual, multicultural nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children and adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
