What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at EIHAB HUMAN SERVICES?
- Coordinate the daily operation and delivery of Day Habilitation services in accordance with NJ DDD regulations and agency policies.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Direct Support Professionals, Client Coordinators, and designated supervisory staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and staff-to-participant ratios in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, train, orient, coach, and evaluate staff; identify ongoing training needs and maintain required staff certifications and training records.
- Ensure person-centered Day Habilitation Plans are implemented, monitored, reviewed, and updated as needed to support participant outcomes.
- Monitor participant progress, review documentation, and ensure timely completion of progress notes, assessments, and required program records.
- Participate in Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meetings and collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of participant documentation and regulatory records.
- Ensure incidents are reported, documented, investigated, and followed up in accordance with agency policy and NJ DDD requirements.
- Oversee emergency preparedness activities, including fire and evacuation drills, and maintain all required documentation.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate program expectations, policy updates, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor program operations to ensure participant health, safety, rights, community inclusion, and quality of services.
- Assist with program budgeting, resource management, and administrative functions as assigned.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to support program development, regulatory compliance,and continuous quality improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Travel required.
- Bachelors degree in the Human Services related field, with one (1) year of experience in related work experience. Associate's degree, with (5) years of related work experience or a High School Diploma/GED, with 10 years of work experience with the developmentally disabled community.

- Certification, License, Registration: Driver’s license valid in the state of New Jersey, plus three years driving history and a driving record in good standing.
