Compensation & Schedule

• Weekday routes: Approximately 1.5-2 hours, paid $50 per service day
• Weekend routes: Approximately 2-2.5 hours, paid $65 per service day
• Weekend shifts may require additional time due to bulk item removal and dumpster servicing
• Service windows are typically 6:00-8:00pm, with days of the week being property-dependent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Valet Waste Management Services Provider to operate a pickup truck with a hydraulic lift trailer used to service multifamily residential communities. This role involves waste collection, transportation, and disposal while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a pickup truck with a hydraulic lift trailer on local roads, highways, and within apartment communities
• Safely load, transport, and unload waste materials to designated disposal or recycling facilities
• Navigate tight spaces, sharp turns, and active residential areas while maintaining awareness of pedestrians and vehicles
• Compact waste within the hydraulic trailer bed
• Perform landfill dumping procedures, including safe backing and maneuvering in congested environments
• Operate hydraulic lift equipment for efficient loading and dumping
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after service (tires, lights, trailer connection, hydraulic system, etc.)
• Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure vehicle readiness at all times
• Transport waste securely to prevent spillage during transit
• Obtain and submit landfill receipts or invoices in compliance with company tracking requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members, property staff, and residents to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL or relevant certifications preferred but not required)
• Experience operating larger vehicles (e.g., box trucks, trailers, dump trucks) preferred
• Background in waste management, logistics, delivery driving, or similar fields is a plus
• Comfortable driving and maneuvering vehicles with attached trailers
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and route navigation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 1–2.5 hours per shift
• Capable of lifting and transporting heavy items such as furniture, mattresses, and appliances
• Ability to repeatedly walk flights of stairs and remain on your feet for the duration of each service window

Preferred Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle inspection and troubleshooting
• Experience with route-based driving (e.g., delivery, bus, paratransit, or similar driving roles)
• Strong communication and time management skills
