Senior Events Marketing Manager - Contractor

The Events Senior Manager will help the company build world class interactive experiences that can drive demand generation through planning and execution of both industry sponsored and Eightfold hosted programs/events.

The Events Senior Manager will be detail-oriented, creative and technically capable marketer who can work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the entire company. The Events Senior Manager will be a self-starter to thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate seamless project management skills while contributing to overall company goals.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop and promote the execution of both virtual and in-person events from start to finish, for all assigned industry sponsored tradeshows, corporate events and field marketing programs.
• Manage event plans and deliverables including: setting timelines, division of duties, event sponsorship contract management, vendor sourcing and relationships, promotions, collateral/marketing materials, giveaways and promotional items, A/V, food & beverage, labor, shipping logistics, staffing, hotels, etc.
• Support company efforts in accessing event/field marketing needs to build a strong Eightfold brand presence.
• Oversee the creation of all event related content and communications including event briefs, marketing emails, creative assets, and internal event updates.
• Collaborate with other marketing functions including product marketing, partner marketing, demand generation, content, brand/design, social, PR/AR and Sales to plan event strategy and execute on all event related deliverables.
• Track and measure metrics for all events in order to make decisions on event success and future programs.
• Successful management of overall event budget, track and negotiate vendor payments and actual expenses.
• Manage outside partner and vendor relationships.
• Willing to travel as needed to support site visits, set-up, on-site execution and tear-down.
  
  

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience working in event marketing related role, B2B tech company preferred
• BA degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience
• Strong project management, organization, attention to detail, timelines, and collaboration
• Vendor sourcing, management and event contract negotiation skills
• Registration and event communication best practices (experience with event platforms)
• Team player willing to pitch in on events and other projects as needed
• Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g. Marketo) and CRM (e.g. Salesforce) preferred
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The base salary range below is provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Zones are determined by location.
