Mandate
Build and run the operating system of the Growth organization. Own the rhythm, the governance, and the customer-facing programs that make Growth predictable, accountable, and world-class.
Scope of Coverage
- Growth Operations / OKRs — the cadence, dashboards, and operating rhythm of the Growth Org
- Strategic Account Governance — the executive sponsorship, escalation, and account review system for our most important customers in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Customer Cadence — CAB, Cultivate, reference programs, and the executive-customer programs that build the Eightfold customer community
Build and Run the Growth Operating System
- Design and run the Growth Org's operating cadence — weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, annual planning
- Own the OKR system across the Growth Org — setting, tracking, mid-quarter health checks, and end-of-quarter reviews
- Build the dashboards and reporting that give the CGO and Growth leadership real-time visibility into the state of the business
- Drive accountability and follow-through on commitments — if it was promised, it gets tracked, and it gets reported
- Build and run the governance system for Eightfold's most strategic customer accounts — executive sponsorship assignments, escalation paths, and structured account review cadences
- Be the single owner of how Eightfold leadership engages with its most important customers — the rhythm, the rigor, and the follow-through
- Build the early-warning and rapid-response systems that catch strategic account issues before they become escalations
- Partner with the Customer Value, Adoption, and Growth pillars to make sure governance decisions translate into action inside the accounts
- Own the customer cadence calendar for the Growth Org — Customer Advisory Board, Cultivate, executive briefings, reference programs, and the moments that define the Eightfold customer community
- Build and scale the Customer Advisory Board into a strategic input mechanism for product, GTM, and category strategy
- Run Cultivate as the flagship customer experience — partner with Marketing on the program and own the customer governance and curation side
- Build the reference program into a true revenue lever — a curated, well-managed asset that supports both new-business Sales and Customer Growth expansion motions
- Own the customer engagement programs that make Eightfold's customers feel seen, heard, and invested in
- Be the trusted operator behind the CGO — the person who makes sure decisions get made, commitments get kept, and the function runs on time
- Build the executive-level communications, board materials, and leadership-team artifacts that represent the Growth Org externally
- Drive special projects on behalf of the CGO — the cross-cutting initiatives that do not fit cleanly inside any one pillar
- Be a thought partner on org design, talent moves, and the cultural rhythms of the function
- Hire, structure, and lead a small, high-leverage team — growth operations, governance, and customer program leaders
- Set the bar for an operating function that earns its credibility through reliability, rigor, and follow-through
- Develop the next generation of operating leaders inside the function
- 10 years of enterprise SaaS experience, with at least 5 years in revenue operations, chief of staff, business operations, or customer programs roles — ideally inside a high-growth Growth or Customer organization
- Proven track record of building or running an operating cadence and OKR system at scale across a multi-pillar revenue or customer function
- Demonstrated experience designing and running strategic account governance, executive sponsorship programs, or comparable customer-leadership engagement systems
- Experience owning customer-facing programs at scale — Customer Advisory Boards, executive customer events, reference programs, or equivalent
- Strong operating instincts — you make functions predictable, you make commitments visible, and you make follow-through cultural
- Cross-functional credibility — you have worked closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and executive leadership, and earned trust across all of them
- Executive presence to operate as a peer to functional leaders and represent the CGO in internal and external forums
- Outstanding written communication — you build the board decks, the customer briefings, and the leadership artifacts that travel on behalf of the function
- Strong analytical rigor — you build dashboards that drive decisions, you reason from data, and you hold your team to the same standard
- Discretion and judgment — you are a trusted operator handling sensitive strategic, organizational, and customer information
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or consulting/strategy background welcome
