We are seeking dependable 1st shift Production Workers to join a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supporting daily production operations including operating bagging equipment, packaging finished materials, palletizing product, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in an industrial setting and can perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor material bagging and packaging equipment
- Fill, seal, and stack bagged material product according to production standards
- Palletize finished product and prepare orders for shipment
- Inspect product for quality and report any defects or issues
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Assist with basic machine troubleshooting and line support as needed
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a loud, and physically demanding environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance history
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Math skills-weighing/measuring for batching
- Mechanical experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
Work Environment
- Industrial production facility
- Exposure to noise, and varying temperatures
- PPE required (composite-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)
