Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Investment Analyst / Financial Advisor with 1–5 years of experience in the financial services industry. This dual role is designed for a professional who loves market research and portfolio construction but also enjoys client interaction and relationship management. You will work directly alongside senior advisors to analyze investment options and build investment portfolios as well as help manage client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio & Market Analysis: Research investment vehicles, monitor asset allocations, and conduct quantitative analysis on mutual funds, ETFs, and individual equities.
- Financial Plan Creation: Utilize financial planning software to build, update, and review comprehensive wealth management plans for clients.
- Client Advisory Support: Participate in client meetings, prepare presentation materials, and handle follow-up communication regarding portfolio performance and strategy changes.
- Trade Execution: Assist with portfolio rebalancing and trade execution across client accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Operations & Compliance: Maintain accurate client records in our CRM and ensure all advisory activities comply with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Active Series 65 license is required (or Series 7/66 combined).
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in investment analysis, financial planning, or wealth management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, RightCapital) and CRM systems (e.g., Wealthbox, Salesforce) is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong comfort level presenting to clients.
