Overview
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, Marketo, supporting a large Enterprise Technology Marketing organization you are executing against the platforms for the demand generation campaigns, you will play a hands-on role in building, testing, and launching Marketo campaign assets, including emails, landing pages, registration pages, forms, and campaign workflows. You will partner closely with campaign managers, designers, event managers, and marketing operation stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into accurate, scalable, and compliant Marketo builds.
This role is ideal for someone with strong Marketo execution experience, excellent QA discipline, and a deep understanding of how demand generation campaigns move from brief to build to launch. Success requires attention to detail, technical fluency, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaign production timelines in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute demand generation emails in Marketo, including email templates, modules, tokens, dynamic content, links, UTMs, and personalization elements.
- Create and maintain Marketo landing pages, registration pages, and forms to support campaigns, events, webinars, and gated content.
- Set up campaign programs, smart campaigns, smart lists, nurture flows, trigger logic, audience segmentation, and operational workflows in Marketo.
- Partner with campaign managers, content teams, designers, and marketing operations stakeholders to translate campaign briefs into accurate Marketo builds.
- Perform end-to-end QA for emails and registration pages, including rendering, links, forms, tracking, responsive design, audience logic, and confirmation workflows.
- Troubleshoot Marketo build issues related to forms, landing pages, tokens, lists, campaign logic, data capture, and CRM sync.
- Maintain campaign production standards, naming conventions, folder structures, reusable templates, and documentation.
- Support A/B testing and optimization for subject lines, email copy, CTAs, landing page content, and registration flows.
- Ensure campaign assets comply with brand standards, accessibility expectations, privacy requirements, unsubscribe rules, and email compliance requirements.
- Coordinate launch readiness, stakeholder reviews, approvals, scheduling, and post-launch validation.
- Pull or support basic campaign performance reporting, including email engagement, registration conversion, form submissions, and campaign activity.
- Recommend improvements to Marketo templates, production processes, QA checklists, and repeatable campaign workflows.
What You Have
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing automation, campaign operations, email marketing production, or demand generation execution.
- Hands-on experience building emails, landing pages, forms, and campaign programs in Marketo Engage.
- Strong understanding of Marketo programs, smart campaigns, smart lists, tokens, forms, landing pages, segmentation, and campaign logic.
- Experience building and testing demand generation emails, including modular templates, personalization, dynamic content, and CTA tracking.
- Experience creating registration pages or landing pages for webinars, events, gated content, or campaign offers.
- Strong QA discipline across email rendering, links, forms, tracking, audience rules, responsive layouts, and data capture.
- Working knowledge of email compliance requirements, including unsubscribe handling, consent, privacy, and regional email rules.
- Ability to collaborate with campaign managers, designers, copywriters, analytics teams, and marketing operations stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaign builds with tight timelines.
- Familiarity with CRM-integrated campaign workflows, lead routing, lead scoring, and campaign member/status management.
- Ability to document processes, follow naming conventions, and maintain scalable campaign production standards.
