Surveillance Technician

Eichler Investigative Services is seeking a per-diem Surveillance Investigator with at least 2 years of field surveillance experience conducting mobile and stationary surveillance for litigation and investigative matters.

This role involves real investigative surveillance related to:

• Personal injury claims

• Custody and domestic matters

• Civil litigation investigations

• Insurance investigations

• Activity checks

This is not a security or CCTV monitoring position. We are seeking investigators experienced in covert observation, evidence documentation, and professional reporting standards.

Assignments occur throughout Connecticut and may include weekday, evening, nighttime, and weekend hours.

• Conduct covert mobile and stationary surveillance

• Capture high-quality video and photographic evidence

• Maintain accurate time logs and surveillance notes

• Prepare clear, concise investigative reports

• Follow operational direction and investigative objectives

• Preserve integrity of digital evidence

• Communicate professionally regarding assignment updates

• At least 2 years of surveillance experience

• Experience conducting field surveillance (not security monitoring)

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

• Ability to write clear investigative reports

• Reliable vehicle suitable for surveillance work

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work independently

• Professional discretion and judgment

• Per-diem / independent contractor role

• Minimum 4 billable hours per assignment

• Mileage reimbursed

• Drive time compensated

• Coverage area: Connecticut statewide

• Availability for weekday, evening, night, and weekend assignments preferred
