We are actively building a talent network of Process Architects (Project Architect / Mid Architect level) with 5 years of experience to support upcoming project needs across Eichleay’s operations in Larkspur, California and throughout the Western United States.

Our work spans life sciences, food & beverage, advanced manufacturing, energy, and industrial environments, where architectural design must align seamlessly with process, safety, and operational requirements.
What You Will Do (Representative Responsibilities)
Responsibilities may vary based on project scope and level of role:
- Lead or support building surveys, programming, material and personnel flow development, and design development.
- Develop 3D models and architectural drawings using Revit 3D and AutoCAD.
- Work with the lead architect for architectural drawing production across all design phases
- Prepare complete construction document packages
- Conduct building code analysis, life safety evaluations, and accessibility compliance reviews
- Coordinate closely with engineers, designers, and project teams in a multi-discipline environment
- Perform materials research, design studies, and technical documentation
- Assist with planning activities, including scope, budget, and schedule development
- Participate in client interactions and project meetings, presenting design solutions
- Support proposal development and technical approach definitions
- Provide direction to designers, drafters, and design assist partners as needed
- Ensure quality control through self-checking and adherence to standards
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a CAB-accredited program (or equivalent requirements established by CAB)
- Licensed Architect in California or ability to obtain
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural practices

- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on industrial, life sciences, or facility design projects involving manufacturing and lab equipment
- Experience collaborating within multi-discipline EPC/EPCM teams
- Exposure to cleanroom, GMP, or regulated environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of small size or portions of complex projects
- Experience in the field, at active construction sites or gathering existing conditions information

Work Environment & Requirements
- Work may be performed in an office, client site, or industrial/construction environment
- Occasional requirements:
- Standing, walking, reaching, climbing, or lifting up to 25 lbs
- May require travel to client sites or project locations
- Overtime may be required based on project demands
- Must adhere to all client site safety and operational protocols
