Role Summary:
As a Landscape Designer/Architect, you will work closely with clients and our internal teams to develop inspired outdoor living concepts. You'll translate client visions into detailed plans, ensuring designs meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary goals. From concept sketches to final construction documents, you'll play a key role in shaping spaces that elevate the standard of residential outdoor living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand goals, preferences, and site conditions; develop creative design solutions that reflect brand standards and client expectations.
- Prepare conceptual designs, detailed plans, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate with estimators and project managers to ensure designs align with budgets and construction feasibility.
- Present design proposals to clients with clarity and professionalism; incorporate feedback to refine plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with local codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and project files; support smooth hand-off to construction and maintenance teams.
- Stay current on design trends, materials, and technologies to continually elevate design quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in residential landscape design (high-end market preferred).
- Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Realtime Landscape Architect, SketchUp, or similar.
- Strong understanding of horticulture, hardscape materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to attend occasional evening/weekend client meetings.
