JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the leadership team to define the characteristics of our targeted “Right” employees and ensure that our recruiting, retention, disciplinary action, terminations, and succession planning practices are geared to identifying these high potential employees.
- Develop and lead Initiatives that will enhance employee satisfaction and lead Initiatives that will promote our organization within our community by allowing employees to volunteer in organized charitable activities that align with our corporate value system.
- Oversee policies and procedures within the company regarding employees, including writing and revising the company policies as needed.
- Ensure procedures are followed within the company regarding all policies and procedures.
- Administer all health, dental, and other insurance programs/renewals within the company. Set up all employees on insurance plans. Reconcile billings.
- Administer all COBRA paperwork, FMLA, and general leave of absences, ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Administer company Worker’s Compensation insurance, file all claims, record injuries in OSHA 300 log. Compile all the information for year-end reports.
- Permanent member of the Safety Committee.
- Maintain all employee personnel files and information and reviews for employees, ensuring accuracy and consistency within departments.
- Assist in 401K administration.
- Oversee company payroll processing.
- Process all requests for employment verifications.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and stay up to date on all laws applicable to business.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, use of 10-key adding machine and strong overall computer skills.
- Knowledge of UKG Ready.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects and daily tasks.
- Payroll processing experience.
- Highest level of confidentiality required.
- Ability to collaborate with a team or independently as needed.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- BS / BA Degree in Human Resources or 5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
