Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer / Technology Consultant to contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, and support of enterprise software and data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, production support expertise, and the ability to work across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and within the BFSI domain is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the requirements elicitation process and document assigned business requirements under appropriate guidance.
- Facilitate software application design discussions and document technical/design decisions for development teams.
- Participate in hands-on coding, application development, and feature integration while maintaining system stability.
- Conduct code reviews, implement code changes, and maintain source-code repositories.
- Design and implement test strategies, analyze test results, and coordinate defect resolution to maintain software quality.
- Develop user training programs, technical documentation, and support frameworks to ensure successful application adoption.
- Provide production support and actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues, particularly data-related issues.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive and reliability-enhancement strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation covering code, testing procedures, production support activities, and technical solutions.
- Contribute knowledge and best practices to the organization's knowledge base and similar projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software integration and successful project delivery.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into actionable development tasks.
- Support end-to-end SDLC activities from requirements gathering through implementation and production support.
