Role Description This is a part-time Data Entry Analyst role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Data Entry Analyst will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining EHS-related data in internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases. Daily tasks include validating data sources, checking for completeness and accuracy, and performing basic data cleaning and formatting to support reporting and analytics. The role will collaborate with EHS consultants and project teams to gather missing information, standardize records, and prepare datasets for analysis and compliance documentation. The Data Entry Analyst will also assist with generating routine data summaries, supporting audit preparation, and maintaining organized digital records aligned with company data standards.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry and validation.
- Foundational knowledge of data analytics and statistics to support basic reporting, trend identification, and data quality checks.
- Experience or familiarity with data modeling concepts to help structure, categorize, and organize EHS data effectively.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with project teams, document data issues, and follow standardized procedures.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and basic database or data management tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a part-time hybrid environment, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
