Overview
EHS Recruiting is assisting a well-established, premium casual restaurant group hire an experienced BOH leader to support and strengthen the kitchen leadership team at its Oceanside location. This role is designed for a Sous Chef, CDC, or Kitchen Manager who thrives on structured systems and seeks a clear path to advancement.
The Kitchen Leader will work alongside an existing Kitchen Manager while learning the company’s culture, operational standards, and systems. Upon successful completion of training and demonstrated performance, the role transitions into bonus eligibility and advancement potential into a full Kitchen Manager position.
Responsibilities
- Support all BOH operations with a focus on consistency, execution, and food quality
- Lead and develop kitchen staff through hands-on coaching and accountability
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Assist with food and labor cost control, inventory management, and scheduling
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure operational alignment and guest satisfaction
- Execute established menus, recipes, and systems
Candidate Profile
- Sous Chef, CDC, or Kitchen Manager experience required
- Background in premium casual or polished casual dining required
- Strong systems orientation and ability to execute in high-volume kitchens
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic
