What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Sampling Technician/Driver position at EHS International, Inc.?
EHSI has an opening for a part-time air sampling technician to collect test samples in the early mornings. Candidate will drive an established route stopping at 6 or 7 outdoor stations in the greater Seattle area to collect samples and record data. Scope of duties includes computer data entry of data into a database. Mechanically inclined aptitude also a plus for periodic pump maintenance and repair. Some Software/IT experience is also a plus. This is a good opportunity for a student or a retiree. Weekly scheduled hours include weekends with weekday days off. Hours are negotiable and can begin between 4:00-6:00 am and ends 10:00-11:00 am depending on route and traffic.
There is some physical activity involved including the ability to walk up and down stairs and walk the duration of a block or two to access sites. The employee may be expected to lift 50 lbs. The position requires a good driving record and must be a US citizen.
