Overview
Ehresmann Engineering (EE) is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our night shift fabrication team. In this full-time role, you will be mainly responsible for welding structural steel components used in the production of cell towers, monopoles, and other custom telecom structures. Our night-shift starts at 4:30 p.m. until 3:00 a.m; Monday through Thursday.
A Background Check & a pre-employment drug screening are required as part of the hiring process.

Duties
- Perform MIG and/or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural steel components with precision and consistency.
- Read fabrication drawings & weld symbols, and use measuring tools to accurately execute welding tasks.
- Operate fabrication / shop equipment including but not limited to saws, shears, presses, and welding tools.
- Ensure all welds meet engineering specifications and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to (EE) safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced and/or proficient at welding, within manufacturing or production environments preferred.
- Proficient in reading fabrication/blueprint drawings and weld symbols.
- Experience within large structural welding and heavy fabrication preferred.
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or rigging equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift 50 lbs.
- AWS welding certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills, measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication work.
Work Environment
- Indoor fabrication shop environment.
- Required use of PPE including but not limited to welding hood, steel-toe boots, protective gloves and hearing protection.
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
