Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help residents with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a nurturing and positive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of residents' rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met according to individual care plans.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving practices.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or geriatric care
- Experience working with elderly patients or residents in a nursing home or similar environment
