A 320 bed skilled nursing facility in Jamaica, New York is seeking a Working
Recreation Supervisor. This individual will be expected to work alongside the recreation staff in running and assuring programs are done timely. Additionally, candidate must be able to step in as acting director and oversee departmental functions in the absence of the director.
Supervisor will document progress notes in the EMR, participate in care plan meetings, development of goals and implementation of recreation programs.
Minimum of one year background in Recreation required.
Computer skills, ability to multi task.
Upbeat, enthusiastic and caring personality.
Ability to work well with team members.
Organizational and planning skills.
High School diploma required.
