EHC is seeking a Field Service Pump Technician for a client of ours that supports the Field Service group by performing installation, removal, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps in accordance with company policies and customer expectations. This role is key to ensuring the company meets customer needs efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform field work including installing, removing, and aligning pumps and motors (using laser alignment tools) and troubleshooting operational issues
- Read and interpret prints, process sheets, work orders, and both written and verbal instructions
- Use precision measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test reconditioned components
- Complete inspection reports accurately and on time
- Work independently with minimal supervision, following established procedures
- Safely lift and move components weighing 5–60 lbs
- Provide and maintain basic hand tools
- Respond to overtime, call-ins, and travel needs (approximately 75% travel)
- Paid travel premium
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in centrifugal pump repair (API-610 preferred) with ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO-9001 quality systems, and company safety standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and travel up to 75%
