Job Title: In-Home Caregiver (Part-Time)
Location: Jonesboro, GA 30236
Schedule: Reliable, Part-Time Hours
Primary Shift: Mondays through Fridays, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (20 hours/week)
Additional Hours: Every Tuesday and Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (8 additional hours/week)
Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 28 hours

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support for a wonderful client in Jonesboro. This role requires a certified professional who finds fulfillment in assisting others to live comfortably and safely in their own home. The ideal candidate will be a proactive helper, a friendly companion, and a trusted individual who takes pride in delivering quality, professional care.
Mandatory Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess and provide documentation for the following:
Active Certification: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA).
Current Certifications: Valid CPR or First Aid certification.
Valid Identification: A current driver's license or state-issued ID.
Legal Authorization: Valid Social Security Number (SSN) for employment verification.
Health Clearance: Recent (within the last 12 months) negative TB test results.
Key Responsibilities:
Companionship & Emotional Support: Engage in friendly conversation, provide social interaction, and participate in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Personal Care Assistance: Provide dignified, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy living environment, including laundry, changing bed linens, light dusting, and vacuuming.
Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
Medication Management: Provide timely and accurate medication reminders to ensure adherence to the prescribed schedule.
Basic Assistance: Support with mobility, transfers, and escorting to appointments or activities as needed.
