About the Role
The Client Community Manager manages and executes the firm's client engagement strategy, for existing clients, prospective clients and their families.
General Responsibilities
- Decide on financial information/current event updates to send to clients and prospective clients from existing bank of resources
- Manage birthday cards/gifts
- Plan and run logistics for our client events, both educational and social (see below)
- Ensure red carpet process is followed for new clients as well as for additional business from existing clients
- Support a culture of building relationships and personalizing client experiences
- Be proactive with client engagement; maintain regular cadence of client outreach
- Become familiar with existing clients, including recognizing them by sight
- Initial project of qualifying list of aging prospects
Event-Related Responsibilities
- Reach out to venues and vendors for availability and quotes; be main point of contact for vendors throughout event lifecycle
- Design invitation and related collateral
- Determine and acquire event giveaways and prizes
- Generate enthusiasm around events
- Set up and prep for events day of; be on-site point person
- Act as MC for events, which includes making logistical announcements as well as generating excitement
- Contribute suggestions on event themes, entertainment, and other creative aspects
CRM-Related Responsibilities
- Dig through CRM for outstanding opportunities or issues
- Utilize firm's CRM to get to know clients personally
- Update client records in CRM
- Run simple analytics/reports on client and account data
Qualifications
- Ability to project a positive, approachable, enthusiastic and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor
- Ability to follow provided scripts to maintain consistent company “voice”
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and complexity
- Strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong understanding of client service needs and priorities (internal and external)
- Solid critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
- High degree of attention to detail while sticking to a timeline

- Impeccable communication skills in-person, over the phone and via email
- Comfortable working in small office environment
- Ability to work in a cyclical, evolving environment
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Past marketing or events-related experience preferred
- Good penmanship preferred
- Should spend at least 20 hours per year in continuing education related to job duties, during work hours
Pay range and compensation package
Salary depending on experience. Starting annual range is $60,000-$70,000. Full-time position. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Very occasional evening and weekend duties.
