What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at EH Financial Group, Inc.?

EH Financial Group, Inc. is a small financial service company offering financial consultation, investment products, and outsourced tax preparation services. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and customer oriented part-time office assistant. Potential to turn into a full time position. Hours are from 8:30AM - 3:00PM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering/screening incoming calls and disseminate information to responsible person.
  • Respond to routine enquiries from clients and suppliers and investigates as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule clients appointments on the manager's calendar.
  • Greet and assist onsite guests.
  • Scan and digitize documents for electronic filling in document management program.
  • Data entry, process and disseminate new account paperwork to related organizations.
  • Process incoming mail, FedEx, UPS, hand delivered items, distribute appropriately.
  • Process outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS.
  • Maintain safe, clean and efficient office environment and supplied inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent. This is an entry level position.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of online CRM (Contact Relationship Management) program.
  • Able to work with basic supervision, with initiative, and good judgment.
  • Efficient and accurate with details.
  • Sensitive, compassionate and positive; good relationship skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Team worker. The ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
