Supported Employment Specialist Department: CCBHC
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required with at least one year of paid experience working with agencies or businesses in the community as well as consumers with a severe mental illness and substance use disorder.

Job Duties:
- Network with community business in Saline, Gallatin and White counties to develop job placements for EHD consumers and assist those consumers in maintaining meaningful employment; and demonstrate the ability to contact and work creatively with local emp
- Providing services related to competitive employment, preparing for interviews, meeting with employers, rapid job search, follow along supports and all principles of supported employment.
- Assess vocational needs of EHD consumers both adults and transition age youth.
- Develop individualized plans for consumers based on the needs identified in the assessment.
- Acquire knowledge of “prevocational skills” and ensure that a consumer is optimally prepared to enter a job.
- Provides evidence based supported employment services to consumer with a severe mental illness.
