The Impact You'll Make

• Contact property owners impacted by roadway projects; answering phone calls and setting up meetings.
• Inspect properties that are impacted by roadway projects with certified appraiser.
• Assist certified appraiser in writing appraisal reports.
• Research market condition and courthouse records to compile comparable sales for appraisal reports.
• Acquire land and easements under the law of eminent domain, following Federal Highway Administration Guidelines.
• Document and gather data for title reports.

The Expertise You'll Bring

• Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in right of way with transportation projects may substitute for education.
• Experience in real estate appraising is not required but recommended.
• Possess a valid driver's license, travel will be required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

At Egis, we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process, we've included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $32.42– $34.00 per hour.

In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and other employee programs.
