Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance the dining experience
- Process cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately, handling all sales transactions with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu options based on guest preferences
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with a TOAST POS system
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related laws is desirable
