Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Counterintelligence Professional based in Richland, WA, with some remote work flexibility. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential threats to the organization through thorough research, investigation, and threat assessments. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing counterintelligence strategies, collaborating with security teams, preparing detailed reports, and educating staff on secure practices. The professional will be expected to handle sensitive information with high levels of confidentiality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Expertise in research and data analysis to assess potential risks and threats
- Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in strategic planning and risk mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with counterintelligence principles, investigative processes, and protocols
- Experience in working with security and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to identifying emerging threats
- Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, Criminal Justice, Intelligence, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Counterintelligence Professional (CCIP) are advantageous
